President's Message

Assalam-o-Alaikum and welcome to Afghanistan!
Information Communications Technology (ICT) is one of the country’s most vibrant sectors, rich with potential and opportunity. The majority of investment in the country is made in the ICT sector and, Insha’Allah; it will be the major contributor to Afghanistan’s national GDP in the near future.
The NICTAA constitutes the largest consortium of ICT players in Afghanistan, brought together in partnership and collaboration to address the challenges that the sector faces. Our membership and partners are committed to advancing trade, development and digital inclusion in the country. NICTAA will work with the public and private sectors in achieving the national development benchmarks put forth in the Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS), and other national priorities. The Alliance will contribute to policy and regulatory reforms to secure the interests of the country, the sector and its membership. We strive to create an Afghanistan that is knowledge-rich and technology-equipped.
I have strong faith in the Alliance — the members, the leadership, the staff, and the young entrepreneurs and volunteers. Every one of them eagerly supported the NICTAA through its formation and made a commitment to empower this alliance, pledging their continued support and cooperation.
In return, NICTAA promises to mirror this commitment as their strongest supporter. For the advancement of our membership and the betterment of our country, we will work to adopt international best practices, thus attracting foreign direct investment in the sector. As a leading entity in the ICT sector, the organization will practice and promote good governance, contributing to the development of individual and institutional capacities in Afghanistan. As a group representative of Afghanistan, the Alliance will strive to reflect the success stories of our country to our counterparts in the international community.
